Diabecon

Composition: a mix of medicinal herbs

Diabecon therapeutic action:

Diabecon increases peripheral consumption of glucose. The medicine reduces fatigue, polyuria, burning sensation in the feet and hands (one month after starting the therapy) and heat. Improves liver and kidney function, reduces sugar cravings and normalizes appetite of patients with diabetes mellitus. Diabecon increases glycogen content in muscles and liver, recovers b-cells and increases the level of C-peptide. Since it has antioxidant properties, it protects b-cells from oxidative stress.

Diabecon has a similar effect of insulin. By reducing the level of glycosaturated hemoglobin, normalizing the microalbuminuria and modulating the lipid profile, Diabecon minimizes the long-term diabetic complications. At the initial stage and unexpressed forms of diabetes, Diabecon may be taken as an independent therapeutic agent with regular blood sugar level tests. In more severe cases and with insulin-dependent diabetes, Diabecon should be taken along with the primary medicine.

Indications for using Diabecon:

  • Insulin independent diabetes mellitus (type two) as monotherapy or as an auxiliary remedy to other antidiabetic drugs
  • For NIDDM with signs of hyperlipidemia
  • For NIDDM with early retinopathy
  • For NIDDM with microalbuminuria
  • As a supplement to insulin-dependent diabetes, type 1
