Himcospaz therapeutic action:

Spasmolytic Himcospaz has direct relaxing effect on smooth muscles and prevents arctation caused by some spasmogenic agents (substances that cause cramps). Reducing spasms in nonspecific abdominal colic, Himcospaz improves digestion and helps control diarrhea. Himcospaz helps cope with menstrual cramps and spasms in women caused by menstruation. It is also a good remedy for nonspecific visceral abdominal pain.

Indications for using Himcospaz:

• Spasmodic pain in the uterus: dysmenorrhea, inflammatory processes in pelvic organs (pain and spasms, pain during menstruation)
• Abdominal colic: intestinal colic (amebic colitis), fecal obstruction (obstructive constipation), cholecystitis and cholelithiasis, parasitic obstruction
• Nonspecific diarrhea: chronic infectious and secretory diarrhea, bacillary and amoebic dysentery, helminthic invasion, irritable bowel syndrome, mucous colitis
• Other: acute pain associated with the urinary tract diseases, spasms and cramps associated with the uterus, chronic pancreatitis

Before taking Himcospaz: It is not recommended to use Himcospaz if you are allergic to any of its main components. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should ask a physician before use.

Although Himcospaz is a 100% natural herbal remedy, it should not be used in the following cases:

• pregnancy and breastfeeding
• severe cardiovascular disorders
• severe hepatic disorders
• severe kidney diseases

Side effects: Himcospaz is not known to have any adverse reactions if taken as prescribed. However, it is advised to consult your health care provider in order to determine the risk of Himcospaz side effects in your particular case.

In very rare cases Himcospaz may cause allergic reactions (rash, itching, hives), headache, nausea.

Interactions: Before using Himcospaz please tell your physician which drugs or supplements you are already taking including the over-the-counter drugs. Himcospaz should be used with caution with the following groups of drugs:

• other herbal remedies containing any active component of Himcospaz
• other remedies for GI tract

Patients information: Himcospaz must not to be shared with others. It is not recommended to use the drug for health conditions other than stated in the product's leaflet. Keep the remedy as well as needles and syringes, if they are necessary for the proper treatment, out of the reach of children.
