Composition: Indian Bdellium / Guggulu

Shuddha Guggulu therapeutic action:

Shuddha Guggulu is a herb useful for reducing blood cholesterol and weight control. It lowers cholesterol and normalizes lipids metabolsim in the body. Increases production of thyroid hormone and promotes metabolism in the body. Shuddha has also anti-inflammatory effects and is useful in diseases of the joints.

Indications for using Shuddha Guggulu:

• high cholesterol level in the blood
• weight control
• atherosclerosis
• arthritis

Before taking Shuddha Guggulu: It is not recommended to use Shuddha Guggulu if you are allergic to any of its main components. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should ask a physician before use.

Although Shuddha Guggulu is a 100% natural herbal remedy, it should not be used in the following cases:

• children aged 14 and below
• severe health conditions, e.g. recent stroke, angina, etc.
• acute infection, acute kidney infections
• exacerbation of skin diseases
• thyrotoxicosis

In very rare cases Shuddha Guggulu may cause allergic reactions (rash, itching, hives), headache, nausea, diarrhea, gas, dry mouth.

Interactions: Before using Shuddha Guggulu please tell your physician which drugs or supplements you are already taking including the over-the-counter drugs. Shuddha Guggulu should be used with caution with the following groups of drugs:

• other cholesterol lowering agents
• other remedies containing Shuddha
